Brad Armstrong, who also directed Wicked pictures' "Conquest" and "Flashpoint," directed this picture in association with Vivid and Adam and Eve. As a result, the production values are higher and the transfer to DVD better than in most Vivid discs. There's always a gimmick in a Brad Armstrong Feature; think of the ship in "Conquest" or the fire engines in "Flashpoint." In this picture the elephants and the camels do the trick. The disc also features stunning costumes and interior locations. Technically, the disc is superb. The audio and video were outstanding, just about as good as in "Flashpoint." Ralph Parfait does the cinematography, and it is excellent. Every one of the sex scenes was a winner. Dyanna Lauren is a very, very lovely woman. The disc features an extremely accomplished cast of studs, including Vince Voyeur, Jon Dough, Steve Drake, Peter North, and T.T. Boy. Veronica Hart does an excellent job in a non-sex role and as narrator. All-in-All, this is a must own; very hot, but also suitable for couples. Unfortunately Vivid may have cut out one or more of the scenes that were on the videotape version of this film. The extras on the "Original Sin" disc include 2 AVN award-winning scenes from other Vivid releases. One of these is a scene with Dyanna Lauren and two other girls wearing costumes that could only have been from "Ancient Secrets." The scene is extremely hot (as it should be if it won an AVN award); one girl uses a clear plastic dildo on Dyanna's anus while another girl eats her pussy. Many people buy the DVD of a film that was one of their favorites on tape, because it is a more durable format and has better image quality, and hopefully Vivid does not do these cut and paste sort of jobs for DVD.
